Amazing collection of images for both photography and space nerds alike!
When I heard the news of NASA releasing 12,000+ images on their Flickr account as part of their "Project Apollo Archive" I was nerding out hardcore. Not only did I want to see the images for the photography aspect of it, but I am a space geek that spends my leisure time to the likes of SciShow and Vsauce on youtube. I love all things that involve space and to get to see these images was an awesome combination.
These were released late September, so why am I so excited about them in early October? Easy, I have spend the last week looking through almost all of the 12,000 photos. The 125 pages of images is a photo story that is absolutely unrivaled. You see everything from random blurry shots of who knows what to clear picture of the Earth, Moon, and Crew. You get to see them in their everyday life.
Don't take my word for it, click on over and check it out.
